Morettina: among all the characters the "idler" could not be missing, the one who decided to travel because he hates to work, who in exchange for food and lodging gives only smiles, sympathy and why not... spicy gossip.
The traveller
He travelled on foot all over the mountain with his bundle to collect his few things tied to a stick. A soup of broth and bread was always there for him, at any hour.
An admirer of women
He admired women, for him they were: "all beautiful... all curly-haired", and he kissed their hands. He offered to exchange his old shoes and trousers for new ones, it was not rare to meet him dressed in unproposable ways.
The art of disappearing
Anyway no problem, when one was tired of him it was enough to ask him for a hand to do something, two minutes and he had disappeared, towards another place, another house, another chat. This was Morettina.
